A Divine Sunrise on Maple Syruping

It's been almost 18 years since I published my first novel, Dreaming Maples. I still recall how thrilling it was to live in the sugarbush in Vermont with the women artists who inhabited my book.

Recently, a wonderful writer named Kathy Joy, from Erie, Pennsylvania, sent me this stunning photo.

Kathy is the author of a four-book series, "Breath of Joy."  She writes for the collaborative group, Books For Bonding Hearts, and is a blogger at www.coffeewithkathy.blogspot.co Kathy snapped this photo in the little hamlet of Cable Hollow, Pennsylvania, where her mother resides, and where sugar maple tappers are enjoying a robust season.
