World's Youngest Trombonist is Also an Amazing Poet!!

OK, I'm not 100 percent sure that she is the world's youngest trombonist, but her poetry truly is amazing.

By Maya LaCoppola

The white flowers in the grass
love to have sweet water.
And they love to eat
sweet morning dew drops
until the sun dries them out.
They love to see the clouds in the sky
way up high
and smell the fresh grass.

Maya LaCoppola, pictured here playing the trombone, is five years old and will enter kindergarten in September. She is also learning to play the violin. She lives with her parents, Andy and Kellie LaCoppola, in upstate New York.

What a sweet and lovely poem. This girl is going places. And playing a full sized trombone too.
